“An alternative to single use plastics” (The Shellworks)

The Innovation
Bioplastic and lobster shells? You might have never imagined that one could have something to do with the other, The Shellworks did. They have managed to design a process that can use the chitin in seafood waste to create bioplastics. This can be used to create packaging for various products and again be easily recycled or used as fertilizer for plants.
