Compostable flexible packaging

“It feels like plastic and looks like plastic. There is just one difference: It’s fully compostable” (TIPA)

The Innovation
Did you know that not all flexible packaging is easy to recycle? TIPA offers a valuable solution to this. They have developed a flexible packaging that is bio-based, compostable and has similar properties as oil based packaging such as transparency, flexibility, durability, sealing and shelf life. Also good to know: TIPA’s packaging material is available for both, non-food and food packaging.

Meet the Founders
Daphna Nissenbaum and Tal Neumann founded TIPA in 2010 to address the problem of plastic waste. Their vision is to create flexible packaging that has the same end-of-life as organic matter, yet does not compromise on any of the performance specifications of conventional plastics.
